Mental Health First Aid for Ohio's Community Members - Leetonia

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Leetonia Community Public Library

The Adult Mental Health First Aid workshop is designed to instruct community members, family members, caregivers, Veterans/Active Military, Pastors/Church Leaders, and other caring citizens how to help an adult who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.

The training is an evidence-based practice, which has been demonstrated to reduce stigma and cover common mental health challenges and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help people in both crisis and non-crisis situations.

The informative Interactive training is being sponsored and hosted by the Leetonia Community Public Library, and funded by the Federal SAMHSA MHAT Ohio National Guard, Vets, Family, and their Communities Grant ( a $170 value per student) award to the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation and Mindful Minds.
