OSPF provides CAMS to behavioral health professionals working with youth (10-24) free of training cost through a SAMHSA GLS Grant.

What Does CAMS Training Include?

CAMS’ 3-part training includes:

1) A 3-4 hour, self-paced online course: This course features a series of videos which provide an overview of the CAMS model. Completion of the online course is required prior to the all-day virtual role-play workshop.

2) A virtual, 1 day workshop: An experienced CAMS consultant will train participants in using the CAMS framework through role-play where participants take turns acting as both counselors and patients.

3) Group consultation calls: Following the workshop, group phone calls will be held for 8 weeks, providing opportunity to discuss successes and challenges as participants implement the CAMS model.
