3rd Annual 5K Ruck Walk for Veterans & First Responders

2026 OSPF Ruck Walk

Join us on October 10, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon at Columbus Commons for the 2026 OSPF Ruck Walk, benefiting suicide prevention efforts for Ohio’s veterans and first responders.

This family-friendly event brings the community together to honor those who serve and support lifesaving suicide prevention programs. In addition to the walk, attendees can enjoy guest speakers, live music, food trucks, community organizations, and activities for all ages.

Registration is $30, and children 12 and under walk free.

New This Year: Walkathon Fundraising

The Ruck Walk is now a walkathon! Participants can fundraise individually or as a team, with prizes awarded for achievements such as most funds raised and most donors engaged. Track your progress and see how your team stacks up on the event leaderboard.

No Ruck Required

While many participants choose to carry a ruck or weighted vest to symbolize the burdens often carried by veterans and first responders, it is not required. Whether you ruck, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your support makes a difference.
