This is a follow-up training for providers that have already been trained in the Collaborative Assessment & Management of Suicidality (CAMS) Framework. The CAMS-4Teens half-day training covers multiple aspects of youth suicide risk and treatment, beginning briefly with an overview of prevalence rates and trends in youth suicide and self-harm (particularly for demographics with increasing rates and risk). Participants will also receive a brief review of the CAMS initial assessment and treatment framework, along with recommendations and numerous tips for implementing the CAMS model with teens. New video demonstrations of using CAMS with youth are included. Issues specific to working with teens and their families are covered.
