How LGBTQ-Affirming Spaces Can Support Youth and Save Lives

Join OSPF for a special webinar led by Keygan Miller, the Interim Director of Public Training for The Trevor Project. This session will focus on the findings of The Trevor Project’s new 2023 U.S. National Survey on the Mental Health of LGBTQ Young People, putting the results into context with current events, and focusing on the importance of providing LGBTQ-affirming spaces as a means for suicide prevention among young people.

Keygan Miller oversees the design and facilitation of public trainings to advance The Trevor Project’s life-saving suicide prevention work and teaches audiences to be strong allies for LGBTQ youth. Prior to this work, Keygan was an Advocacy Manager at The Trevor Project and they served as an Intervention Specialist for Cincinnati Public Schools.

Registration is free for OSPF members and $25 for non-members. A CE Application has been submitted for continuing education for prevention, social work, and psychologists.
