Stigma impedes youth and young adults’ ability to seek professional mental health in a crisis, so stigma reduction is often the focus of suicide prevention advocates. It’s difficult to change attitudes toward stigma in the long-term, however, much less quantify stigma and track how it changes over time. In this webinar, Vanessa McNeill, MS, will detail how she and other researchers at Montana State University Billings evaluated a series of youth productions to measure their short- and long-term impact on stigma reduction. Vanessa will also show several of the youth productions and discuss how suicide prevention advocates can integrate the power of those videos into their own stigma reduction campaigns.
This webinar is $25 per person, and CEU will be provided.
